Dr. William L. Yoos, O.D., F.O.A.A.
Dr. Yoos graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in May of 1992, and worked until March of 1993 with Dr Eddie Bryant, an ophthalmologist in West Memphis, Arkansas. He previously taught high school for six years after graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BS in education. While working with Dr. Bryant, he began work on passing state boards and was licensed in Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia. However, he has only practiced here in Northwest Arkansas.
In March of 1993, he opened a very successful practice in Bentonville, Arkansas, where he leased office space for five years. During this time, he completed schooling to become an optometric physician, which superceded his TPA certification and allowed him to apply for and receive a DEA license. This greatly helped widen the scope of his practice.

During this time, he began exploring the possibility of opening his own clinic. A lot was purchased, construction began, and on November 16 of 2000, the clinic began operation. It is an excellent facility with a great staff that has grown now to ten and a full service optical lab that is continuing to grow each year. In 2001, Dr. Yoos began working in the clinical trials of a new process to reshape the cornea while one is asleep. This is called corneal refractive therapy, or CRT, in this country. It is also known as orthokeratology. Dr. Yoos and his wife were the first two patients to try this new procedure. Using a special medical contact lens that is custom designed for each patient, the cornea is remolded while the patient sleeps. No correction is then needed during the daytime. He and his wife still use CRT, and love it. Dr. Yoos has successful fitted many patients over the last nine years, and in 2005, he received a fellowship in this degree. He truly enjoys visiting with all his patients, and works extremely hard in making sure to take care of all of his patient's eye health needs. Dr. Yoos is an avid gardener, loves water sports, hunting, and fishing, and enjoys taking Taekwondo with the rest of his family.

Rose Yoos
Rose is the office manager at Dr. Yoos Eye Care & Optical and Dr. Yoos is her better half! She and Dr. Yoos have been a team for over thirty years, and feel very blessed to have the best staff in the world working with them. Rose grew up on a family farm in southwest Missouri and taught elementary school in Missouri and Tennessee for twelve years before moving to Arkansas. Northwest Arkansas is a beautiful place to live and work, and the practice has been established here since 1993. The number one concern is providing the best in eye health care to our patients. Rose loves her family and friends, is into frog mania, loves cats, working outside, being out at the cabin on Beaver Lake, and her favorite activity, taking Taekwondo with the whole family at NW Taekwondo in Centerton, Arkansas! The two younger girls should earn their black belts the first part of 2010. The oldest daughter Erika, who worked here at the clinic, is now married to Sam David (Dr. Yoos finally has a son!) Both are working and attending college here, and seriously considering the medical field and possibly optometry as their profession.

(Rose, Claryce and Sarah)
Claryce Thomas
Claryce started working for Dr. Yoos thirteen years ago as an optometric technician. She does the pre-testing, handles phone calls and makes appointments, orders and checks in contact lenses, trains patients to wear and care for their contact lenses, does filing and bookkeeping, and files paper insurance claims. It was really exciting for her when Dr. Yoos built and opened his own beautiful clinic in Bella Vista in November of 2000. The clinic has continued to grow and has added more staff members. Claryce finds that working with Dr. Yoos, Rose, and a staff now of ten is a rewarding experience. She now is semi-retired and works two days a week. For her it is the best of both worlds - working and staying home with her husband of forty-eight years who is retired, enjoying her family, church, and neighborhood.
Sarah Pankau
Sarah started working for Dr. Yoos in February of 2009 in the insurance/billing department. Before that she worked in banking for eight and a half years. Sarah grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and then moved to Pineville, Missouri about twenty two years ago. She was married to Randy Pankau in 1992 and together they have four wonderful children, Dakota, Jason, Kourtney, and Donna Lea. Sarah's hobbies include camping, hunting, 4-wheeling, and Kourtney's basketball games, family, and friends!

Mandy loves animals, and has two boxers, a cockatoo, and a 180 gallon marine fish aquarium. Traveling, going on cruises, and shopping are some of her favorite things to do to pass the time. She was born and raised in NW Arkansas all her life; not too many people can say that who live around here anymore!

Jennifer VonBose began working as an optometric technician two years ago. She pretests patients, does sales on the floor of the optical, and fits/trains/dispenses contact lenses.
